So you want to build your own fancy clock radio? You may want to try the Pandora’s Clock project. This is a Nixue Tube Clock with a Pandora Internet Radio. It is based on the Raspberry Pi and offers WiFi, an amplifier, and speakers. As jgroner explains on Instructables, you are going to need a SPECTRUM IN-18 Nixie Clock kit. a Raspberry Pi Model B+, Nixie Tubes, a power supply, a WiFi USB dongle for Raspberry Pi, and a few other parts to get started.
